Chatter Creek's Dale McKnight takes time off from building snow roads to pose with a neighborhood Pine Martin (insert). These nocturnal mammals are a bit of a pest and get into everything. They can knaw through boards, so, in an effort to keep the little fellows out, the walls of Vertebrae Lodge's crawl space were sheathed with metal flashing.
