Cut Blocks are areas on lower slopes that were logged before snowcat skiing started in the area. The remaining stumps get well covered and create many interesting features to ski over or around. At Chatter Creek, the stumps are usually well covered. The snow is soft and consistent and many skiers and riders use resulting mounds to "get a little air"
