December 2003. A snowy evening at Chatter Creek. After a summer of upgrades, Vertebrae Lodge was ready for its second winter. Now, just nine months later, Solitude Lodge, the new bedroom annex, is nearing completion. Before the snow flies again this year, there will lots of time spent clearing new tracks that will extend the network of winter cat roads into parts of the terrain not used before. There should be many new lines to ski and ride.
