Powder Skiing at Chatter Creek
High on the Windlip, near the Keyhole and the entry to Vertebrae glacier, the view overlooks the road to the glacier, Megahoop and Lodge Ridge . We are close to 10,000 ft. in elevation, the tree line is at about 7000 ft. and the elevation of Vertebrae Lodge, is about 5200 ft. The lodge sits well out of sight, hidden in the valley near the center of the photo. The West ridge rises above the lodge and contains the Clamshell, which is visible to the right of center, but is heavily shaded. Click on the image to enlarge it.
